Sneak peek no. 2

Hello Everyone

Only a couple of days to go...on Tuesday our new catalogue goes live and I will be here with a video featuring new catalogue goodies....and there is SO much to show you.

Today's sneak peek features a couple of things for you...firstly a quick look at our colour changes for this year.

In Europe we have five new 'In Colors', six returning colours and four brand new core colours. There are so many new colour combinations to play with it is hard to know where to start...but I think I will start with our In Colors.

Our In Colors reminded me of Art Deco Miami colours - so I though I would start with a cocktail card!
Taking you around the cocktail umbrella...we have Baked Brown Sugar at the top, (a warm brown colour), then from left to right you see Costal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, (oooh love it!) and Pistachio Pudding.

I made the umbrella by punching with the scallop triangles using the Petite Pennant Builder Punch. I then snipped the edges. I love how they go together.

The lime is made with a 1 3/4" circle punch and you may spot another new punch shape if you look closely!

I cut the glass out of Window Sheet and backed it with Silver Glimmer Paper painted with an Aqua Painter in Strawberry Slush.

I think it looks like a Miami strawberry cocktail!

I will be back on Tuesday with a video featuring these same colours....can't wait to share!

New goodies sneak peek 1

Hello Everyone

Are you excited....I am! Just around the corner is out new Stampin' Up! catalogue. I can't wait to show you all that lies inside, but for today I have a sneak peek!

This card features one of our beautiful new stamp sets called Mosaic Madness. The border stamps and the red and grey images come from this stamp set.

Of course the wonderful thing about Stampin' Up! is the way all our products go together to make creating professional looking products a breeze!

If you look closely you can see the Mosaic Madness stamp set comes with not only a matching punch, but also a co-ordination embossing folder.

You are also seeing one of our new colours, Smokey Slate, a very soft grey colour that I love.

Back on Sunday with another sneak peek....our catalogue goes live in Europe on 2nd July...and I can't wait!

Dress up Just for Fun!

Hello Everyone

You may not know that I am such a big Walt Disney World fan, that my nieces call me Auntie Disney so I just had to make a Minnie Mouse card using the Dress Up die.

The ears are my ONLY non-SU! punch! The greeting is from Itty Bitty Banners.

My second fun project is a Stampin' Up! apron! I cut it and then used a circle punch, scissors and pricking tool to make that Apron.

I hope you like today's fun Dress Up projects and I still have more to come....

Dressing up for a Wedding

Hello Everyone

Today's project is a Dress Up die wedding card. I stamped the bodice with the Gossamer Lace stamp - see how on my previous video!

The skirt is made with 9 Vanilla Flower Trim flowers and the greeting comes from Petite Pairs.

The Oval dies are in our Spring/Summer Stampin' Up! catalogue. I stamped the Crumb Cake background with a stamp from Creative Elements.

Hope you like it and I am back with two super-fun projects on Sunday.

Stationery Box Tutorial Video

Hello Everyone

I have an extra video to share with you today featuring a project I have been teaching at my most recent 'special' class. It is my design for a Stationery Trunk. I've always wanted a proper old fashioned trunk - but this box is the closest I have got so far.

All the ladies who came along to make it had a fun evening creating this project, and I am already getting emails and pictures of the ones they have made since using my instructions.

These 10 page photo tutorial instructions are available to purchase at £3.50 if you are interested. Just click below to buy and I will send you a link so you can make your very own box.

If you wish to teach this box in a class - that is fine. Please just leave my details on the instructions you hand out.

Happy stamping - back soon with another fun project.

VIDEO Lacey Dress Up

Hello Everyone

Today was supposed to be another Dress Up video - also featuring an Apothecary Labels.

So I went to link it - and found it was already linked to another post below! Those of you who use blogger and youtube may know they have had some problems over the last few weeks and too many dress up videos had got me confused...easily done!

So now I have the video you should have had last week - scroll down if you want to see what you should have see this week. LOL

Back on Friday with more cute Dress Up dresses!

Bathing -Dress up

Hello Everyone

Dress up is not just for dresses! Here is a card made using the Dress Up die to create swimming costumes.

I cut the dresses in Floral District designer series paper. I then used the 1 1/4" circle punch make the leg cut outs.

The bikini needed a little hand cutting and I used the pricking tool, Basic Rhinestones and Bakers Twine to finish it.

I made the sand with torn, spritzed Crumb Cake cardstock and Champagne Glimmer Paper. The Suntan Lotion bottle is made using the Jewellery Punch and the Flip Flops were hand cut and finished with Bakers Twine.

Back on Tuesday with another Dress Up video - are you tempted to get these dies yet?
